Communications & Editorial Intern Ref: SC01

Responsibilities

The Global Learning Programme team is delivering a government-funded programme that aims to embed Global Learning into the curriculum in schools across England. The team is looking for support in the marketing, communication and editorial aspects of the project. The selected intern will be responsible for writing newsletters, composing tweets, information and call-to-action emails, editing and formatting content for the website, liaising with partners to support their communication activities, and supporting the school network team.

Required skills, attributes and qualifications:

  • A minimum 2:1 degree classification
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Experience of working in Marcomms, editorial and research

Editorial Project Editor Ref: SC 02

Location: London or Oxford

Responsibilities

By combining content, assessment and technology, we want to help more people make progress in their lives through education. Our qualifications, teaching and learning resources are all designed to get the best out of each and every student. The Secondary Learning Services team is looking for an intern to project-manage the products and/or services within their remit. Responsibilities include managing projects from raw content through to final file delivery, in a range of formats (i.e. print, eBook, digital platforms); working as part of a team to ensure products and services are delivered on schedule, to budget and to an high quality standard.

  • A minimum 2:1 degree classification
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Excellent decision making ability
  • Ability to work with others, as well as independently to achieve goals
  • A creative and innovative approach to work
