Marketing Executive Ref: HE01

Location: Harlow

Responsibilities

Higher Education Services deliver innovative learning services to help educational institutions become more effective and their students more successful. They offer technologies to engage and build confidence in students as learners, while also helping educators better track their student's progress. 11 million students have used their learning technologies, and studies show that they benefit from better results and deeper comprehension, preparing them for their professional careers. The internship will combine elements of event organisation, marketing execution and sales - driving customers through the customer journey from awareness, interest, desire and action. Responsibilities will include; organising at least two regional events to engage customers with Pearson, fully qualifying marketing leads and supporting the marketing team in marketing communications.

National Campaign Manager Ref: HE02

Location: Coventry and London (travel involved)

Responsibilities

The work based learning and colleges department provides qualifications and services to further education institutes. The selected intern will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive product sales strategy to drive growth and business maintenance within their designated portfolio. This will include working with the sales teams to promote and sell a portfolio of qualifications; provide strategic input into customer-facing and marketing activity; lead in the planning, implementation and evaluation of high level sales campaigns.

Required skills, attributes and qualifications:

  • Minimum 2:1 degree classification
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong understanding of the sales process and the Further Education sector
  • Full, clean driving licence (there is an element of travel involved)

Digital Implementation and Support Manager Ref: HE03

Location: Harlow

Responsibilities

The Higher Education Services team deliver digital products and services to Higher Education institutes. They test digital products, provide training and support lecturers and students across various digital platforms. The selected intern will provide first line support for customers; troubleshooting and responding to their technical queries, as well as providing remote orientation. It's a varied role for a candidate who is passionate about the transformative effect eLearning technologies can have within the field of Higher Education.

Required skills, attributes and qualifications:

  • Minimum 2:1 degree classification
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience of working in a customer facing role
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong assessment and trouble-shooting skills
  • Strong technical background, i.e. excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Professional applications, internet tools and software.
